SheetBridge is built to snapshot every product before it writes — so a bad sync is one click away from reversible. Two-way Google Sheets ↔ Shopify sync, designed so a wrong edit is an undo, not a disaster.

Go read the reviews for any Shopify sync or bulk-edit app. Past the marketing, the complaints rhyme:
"Half my products were deleted." A sheet edit propagates wrong and the catalog gets gutted — or duplicated into thousands of ghost listings.
"The feed just stopped for days." Syncs silently die — "without any change from our end" — and nobody notices until orders break.
"Support never answered." Two-week waits. Generic "we'll get back to you." A bot loop while your store is down.
"It's fine until it's expensive." Pricing that's reasonable at 500 SKUs and brutal at 20,000.
These aren't edge cases. They're the default outcome of tools that write to your live catalog from a state they never verified, with no snapshot and no undo. Shopify's bulk editor bogs down well before a few thousand products; a CSV import turns one lowercase header into deleted variants with no way back.
SheetBridge is the response to those exact reviews. Safety isn't a feature here — it's the entire architecture.
How it works
This is the architecture we're building: four steps between your spreadsheet and your live store, with every write designed to pass through all four.
SheetBridge reads the current live state of the affected products. It never writes from a stale or assumed state.
Before changing anything, it's designed to save a versioned backup of exactly those products — so the pre-change state is preserved.
It checks the change for the classic catalog-killers — deleted variants, broken option mappings, suspicious mass-deletions — before committing. On a conflict between sheet and store, it pauses and flags instead of guessing.
If a result looks wrong, restore to any prior version in one click — a single product, a variant, or your entire catalog.
Say a VA pastes the wrong column into your inventory sheet. With a CSV import, that's a silent catastrophe you discover from angry customers. With SheetBridge: the change is snapshotted, the anomaly is flagged before it writes, and even if you'd approved it, you click Restore and it's as if it never happened.
Why SheetBridge
SheetBridge is built to version each product the instant before it changes it — so your catalog finally has an undo button.
A bad sheet edit shouldn't cost you a weekend. Restore any product, variant, or your whole catalog to any prior version in one click.
If the sheet and your store disagree, SheetBridge refuses to guess — it pauses and flags the conflict instead of overwriting live data.
Edit in Sheets or in Shopify; both stay current. Products, variants, inventory, price, SKU, and SEO fields — not just stock numbers.
Real, fast responses to real questions — not a bot loop or a two-week wait when your catalog is on fire.
$19 / $39 / $79 per tier — no $200 cliff, no losing your plan when you grow. Built to stay affordable at 20,000 SKUs.
Two-way sync, concretely
Edit in Google Sheets → Shopify updates. Edit in Shopify → your sheet updates. No "source of truth" lock-in.
Products, variants, inventory levels, price, compare-at price, SKU, and SEO fields (title, description, handle) — not just a single stock number.
Scheduled syncs on Starter; real-time on Pro and up. You decide how often Sheets and Shopify reconcile.
Syncs the managed data fields without clobbering your formulas, tabs, or analysis layer.
The difference, in one table
Most sync tools advertise two-way sync and stop there. The safety net — snapshots, rollback, refusing to guess — is what's usually missing.
| Capability | SheetBridge by design | Typical sync app | CSV / bulk editor |
|---|---|---|---|
| True two-way sync | ✓ | Sometimes | — |
| Versioned backups before each write | ✓ | — | — |
| One-click rollback | ✓ | Separate app | — |
| Refuses to guess on conflicts | ✓ | — | — |
| Responsive human-quality support | ✓ | Often bot-only | — |
| Flat price at 20,000 SKUs | $39/mo | Often tiered by volume | Free, but no undo |
Comparison describes general category patterns drawn from public reviews and help docs as of mid-2026, not a claim about any single named product. We'll publish named, sourced comparisons separately once SheetBridge is live.

Who it's for
200–20,000 SKUs. Past the point where Shopify's bulk editor crawls and stalls, but where CSV imports are a tightrope and full migration tools are heavier and pricier than you need.
You make a lot of edits across a lot of stores. Rollback is your insurance policy; multi-store on Plus is your console.
That's exactly the problem SheetBridge is built to solve. It's designed to take a versioned snapshot of the affected products before every write, so a change can be reversed in one click. It's built not to write from unobserved state, and to pause rather than guess on a conflict.
You roll it back. Pick the version from before the sync and restore — one product or the entire catalog. Because SheetBridge is designed to snapshot before writing, the pre-change state is preserved so you can restore it, even if a sync errored mid-run.
A CSV import has no undo. One lowercase header silently creates a junk field; a missing Option column deletes variants. SheetBridge validates every change before it writes and keeps a restore point, so a typo is an "undo," not a disaster.
So has everyone we built this for. The incumbents share the same reviews: deleted products, duplicated catalogs, feeds dark for days, support that never replies. Reliability and rollback are our entire product, not a feature behind a paywall.
No. SheetBridge syncs the data fields it manages and leaves your sheet structure intact; it won't clobber your analysis layer the way a raw re-export does.
